All our reformulated inks now contain a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients and are, as ever, handmade in micro batches in Launceston Australia. The reformulated inks now have better flow, less feathering and bleeding, and higher quality dyes. They have also minimized the number and quantity of additional chemicals added, and all their dyes and additives are approved for food and cosmetics. This color was inspired by the exotic and enticing Black tongue spider orchid (Caladenia caudata). Tasmania’s orchids are some of the most beautiful in the world this species is found only in Tasmania. The Black Tongue Spider Orchid, with a gorgeous shade from black to deep magenta, is under conservation and listed as vulnerable due to agricultural expansion and disturbance in burning in certain regions.
