Bijutsukai and Shin Bijutsukai were published during the Meiji period (1868–1912) as craft design books, featuring stunning creations by Japanese painters and designers. These books, published by Unsodo, a Kyoto-based art publishing company, contain a collection of vibrant woodblock print designs and are the only hand-printed woodblock books in Japan.
The striking contrast of vibrant, linear rainbows and the gentle curves of pure white mountains creates a visually pleasing landscape that never fails to bring joy. Upon closer observation, the varied widths and undulating borders add a heartwarming touch. The intricate design evokes a fairy tale setting.
The planner comes with a clear A5 size pencil board that features 5mm grid lines and 1mm measurement increments, doubling as a ruler. It also includes a convenient pen holder for storing pens with clips.
