This is a collaboration techo with the SUPER Famicom™ game “MOTHER 2: Gyiyg Strikes Back!” (EarthBound in North America, released by Nintendo Co., Ltd. in 1994), for which Shigesato Itoi was the game designer. This HON book’s cover features clay figurines specially made for use in the official MOTHER 2 guidebook. The background of the design has vibrant color blocks for a pop-culture vibe.
The A5 HON size follows the same format as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, featuring weekly spreads that condense each week onto two pages. This layout simplifies scheduling with a built-in time timetable, offering an efficient and organized planning experience.
The HON planner features thread-stitch binding akin to Hobonichi Techo books, allowing it to lay completely flat at 180 degrees without needing to be held open. It utilizes thin, lightweight, and durable Tomoe River paper, renowned for its excellent ink retention and smooth writing surface.
Exclusively designed for the HON planner, this techo includes a transparent pencil board featuring 5mm grid lines. One edge is marked with 1mm measurement increments, serving as a precise ruler. Additionally, it incorporates a pen holder, enabling users to secure pens by their clips for convenient access.
