Diplomat Viper Guilloche Fountain Pen - Brown

I love the colour and the texture of this pen. They write smoothly. The magnetic closure on it is so pleasing and has such a satisfying sound. I decided to get the other colors, brown and black. This is the only fountain pen I have done this with other than a number of years ago when I started out with a Lamy Safari and was too scared to buy a different pen! They only come in m/f size for the nib and I prefer extra fine but I am writing a lot with them and make adjustments in my writing. They stay wet capped, so far no hard starts. I'm waiting for the matching rollerballs as I need to use these on some of my work paper. Obsessive? Probably but you know when a pen is just right for you. The only downside is that there is no nib replacements available.

Smooth writing experience. Had it for a few days now and it writes as soon as it it uncapped. I love the texture of the pen so much I have ordered it again in the blue color. I usually prefer a F or EF nib and this pen only comes in one size F/M but it has not disapointed me. I believe it is equivalent to 0.4mm.

Such a beautiful pen and packaged with care 🥰 I prefer EF pens but am enjoying how smooth the viper glides across the page.

I admit I like the looks of this pen. It is sleek and not over the top. It is light and well balanced. I did not expect it to be such a pleasure to write with. Performs much better than expected at this price range. I also adore the magnetic lid. It closes with such a satisfying thunk.
