It's particularly beneficial when using the Sailor Hocoro Dip Pen with a Calligraphy-sized or Fude nib.
The nib is crucial in preventing the need for frequent inking during use, especially when writing with a 1.0mm, 2.0mm, or Fude nib, which produces wider lines. Installing the feed onto the nib is as simple as snapping it into place behind the steel nib. The feed features a protrusion that perfectly fits into the heart-shaped breather hole of the nib. To ensure the dip pen can be easily cleaned with a rinse in water, extra space was added between the feed and the back surface of the nib, resulting in less contact and effortless cleaning.
