Platinum Preppy Wa Fountain Pen (2nd Edition) - Urokomon

The second edition of Platinum preppy Wa fountain pen collection has six designs - Hanabishi Kikko, Yagasurik Sakura Tatewaku, Urokomon, Ichimatsu and Seigaiha.

The Urokomon pen

The pattern is composed of a succession of isosceles triangles representing scales of dragons and snakes that are considered to be sacred creatures. It is also said to dispel demons that dwell in women and so the pattern has been widely used on kimono, obi belt and other accessories for kimono attire.
