I treated myself to a pen to replace the beloved student pen I used years ago all through high school and college. (The part where the nib attached had finally cracked)
Not only is this pen very attractive, its smooth barrel and slim shape are balanced and ergonomic in my hand. I don’t intend to carry this one around with me, but if I were, this not so heavy as to be inconvenient nor ornate as to come off as ostentatious. I really love the classic mid-century aesthetic.
The pen writes smoothly and evenly with no extra pooling of ink when you pause. It came with a refillable barrel, which was very easy to use. (Using a fountain pen for the first time in years really highlighted how much paper quality has degenerated though!)
I ordered the medium nib; if I was to order it again i think the fine nib may be better for my handwriting style - maybe next time!
Also, must say I was impressed by how quickly my order was fulfilled by Bleskit.
