Pen Refills and accessories are available at our online store and at our brick and mortar store located in Brampton, Ontario. Various Inks for fountain Pens, Pen converters, Rollerball Refills and ballpoint refills are also available. If you are looking where to buy pen refills including Mechanical Pencil Leads, Pen nibs, you have come to the right place. Ink Converter allows the fountain pen to use bottled ink, rather than ink cartridges. Some cartridge style fountain pens are proprietary and only allow their brand of ink cartridge to be used. Bottled inks come in a wider range of colour selections than the cartridge inks.

A fountain pen converter (or INK converter) is simply something that holds ink inside of a pen. It takes the place of an ink cartridge, but it allows you to fill your pen from an ink bottle.

FAQ: Pen Refills

How do I know which refill my pen takes?

Check the brand first, most makers use their own fittings. Lamy, Pilot and Platinum each take proprietary cartridges and converters, while Kaweco and many European brands take standard short international cartridges. If you're unsure, contact us with the pen's name and we'll match it.

What's the difference between a cartridge and a converter?

A cartridge is a sealed, disposable tube of ink, convenient and clean. A converter is a refillable piston that lets the same pen draw ink from any bottle, cheaper over time and it opens up hundreds of ink colours.

Do you stock refills for pens you don't sell?

Often, yes. Rollerball and ballpoint refill sizes (like standard Parker-style G2) fit many brands, and short international cartridges fit most European fountain pens. Send us a note if you can't find yours.
